Phone high contrast mode increases contrast between app foreground and background colors.
When high contrast option is enabled in phone these settings affects all text elements and main UI elements and their states such as:
Buttons;
Selection controls;
Form elements;
Accordions;
Tabs.
High contrast mode does not affects secondary information such as:
Informative icons;
Images;
Illustrations.
